THE COMMONS AT BRENTWOOD

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Orange Mound Development Corporation developed The Commons at Brentwood with Low Income Housing Tax Credits, and partnerships with The City of Memphis & First TN Bank. These multi family units are made available to families at or below 60% of the median area income. This site fronts on Spottswood, with Josephine street on the west, Haynes on the east, and Waverly street on the north. The construction of The Commons at Brentwood Apartments has offered affordable multi-family housing options for low to moderate citizens in the Orange Mound Community. The construction of the multi-family complex contributed to the housing stock in a low investment area, and increased the tax base in the  city and county.
