On Thursday, April 9, 2020, from 5p-10p, we are welcoming all neighborhoods, faith-based organizations, community development corporations (CDCs) and others to come out and show your support by being part of this amazing event as we celebrate the eminence of our City and its neighborhoods. What can your neighborhood display at A Taste of Memphis? A Taste of Memphis has served as a platform to share the unique qualities and accomplishments of local neighborhoods and what indigenous leaders are doing to help make Memphis a better place to live, work, and play. During the event, we have a friendly competition based upon the best neighborhoods that best displays their greatness.
NEIGHBORHOOD BOOTH COMPETITION
This is our 7th annual fun competition festival based on how unique a booth/display area is in concept, implementation, and effectiveness in clearly representing your community. This is your neighborhood’s opportunity to “show and tell” the attendees about your organization. You may create a display area that tells the story of who you are and what you do. This will be a time to “toot your horn” about the awards, projects, accomplishments, and especially the rich history of your neighborhood. You may use photos, articles, videos, powerpoint presentations — almost anything that helps tell the story of your neighborhood!
To assist you with your display area, we will provide one (1) 6-foot-long table and two (2) folding chairs. The registration fee is only $25.00 per booth.
Please make your check or money order payable to City of Memphis (please reference Taste of Memphis 2020 on your payment.)

BECOME A FOOD VENDOR
This awesome event is designed to highlight our neighborhoods, neighborhood organizations, as well as small business in the Memphis and Shelby County area. We welcome you to showcase your delectable delights! You may create a display area that tells the story about who you are and what you do. This event is free to the public. We are looking to have a variety of food options, apply today!
To participate and reserve your space, complete the application and return it with a fee of $40.00 by March 20, 2020. We only have space for a maximum of 10 food trucks and this is based on a first come, first serve basis. Make check or money order payable to City of Memphis (reference on check/money order “for Taste of Memphis 2020”).
